DIGITIZING   EDITS/TYPESETTING
  • Minimum charge on all digitizing $100.00.
  • Some larger or complex designs may be charged up to $25 per 1,000 stitches in excess of 5,000.
  • Please send vector art in .eps or .wmf format for digitizing, along with .pdf or raster image for quoting and vectore image verification.
  • Minimum charge $50.00

PERSONALIZATION:
Set-up $50 / namedrops at 3.5" $30.00/ea. Towels, robes, blankets & oversized bags start at $15.
 
SHIPPING AND HANDLING:
Handling charge includes:
  • All shipments are blind, labeled showing you as shipper.
  • Only best quality boxes with protective inserts top and bottom to prevent damage.
  • Tracking information always provided.
  • When shipping packages on your behalf, a handling charge of $10.00 will be added to each package
    billed to your shipper number. A $15.00 charge will be added if we ship on our account and then invoice
    you for the charges. FedEx or courier charges billed to our account may be invoiced separately.
  • Split shipments will incur a $15 charge per ship to address.
 
OTHER CHARGES:
  • Solvay, applied and steamed 0.75 cents. Expect Solvay charges on polar fleece, terricloth.
  • Polybag 0.50 cents each. Polybagging of heavy jackets 1.75 cents.
  • Some "lining access" jackets, or other difficult to hoop items, may incur extra charges
  • Changing thread color per garment color, especially tone on tone or match contrasting trim,
    may force price higher based on quanity per color.
 
DIGITIZING    

How it works and what we need to do a top notch job!

Digitizing involves creating a line-art version of a design, and then programming the stitch pattern and sequence of each individual piece. Good digitizers not only know their software well, but are also intimately familiar with embroidery equipment.

Reproducing a logo with accuracy and detail can best be done from line-art or vector files such as Illustrator(eps) or CorelDraw (cdr). Some Acrobat(pdf) files work, as well. Some high resolution art works well, but may be difficult to transmit via e-mail. When faced with a poor resolution file, the digitizer must become an artist and interpret the design as it is redrawn. Of course, if vector art is not available, send what you are provided with and we'll advise you before we begin digitizing.

When a new design is digitized, we'll send you a .jpg or .pdf image of the actual sew-out. These are relatively compact files and not only e-mail easily, but can be conveniently stored in a folder on your computer. The file name can then be used when referencing for reorders.

Always include as much information about the garment being embroidered as well. Designs must be adjusted for different types of apparel, such as hats, polar fleece, or pique.

Please provide Pantone colors or Madeira thread colors with design.

Always indicate if it is for quoting purposes only, and reference a purchase order number whenever possible.
